God's eyes see through earth to the prize beneath; God's fingers shape clay into art.

Gawkish girl. Could hum a tune and jump around a little, but no amount of polishing could have helped what was cumbersome by nature. Christine needed to be re-built from the inside out, piece by piece, like a puzzle that had been set all wrong but was going to be made right. And as with any song or sculpture, beauty bleeds out easily when all parts are a perfect fit.

The Phantom turned dirt into a goddess. All he asks in return is the permission to worship her.
