| This one is so adorable I'm actually sad that I can't find the words
to convey just how giggly and super-shippy I feel about it.
Sakuragi screws up yet another easy lay-up just as Shohoku is
starting to catch up on Sannoh (see left), and it's Rukawa who saves the
shot with a dunk (see right).
And how does Sakuragi respond to this? Instead of raving that Rukawa
stole his shot/was showing of/took the spotlight away from the tensai,
Sakuragi says thank you, the only way he can: by giving Rukawa
an affectionate kick.
