| Episode: The One Where Rukawa's Creeping Everybody Out with His
Intensity

As they're about to start a practice game, Sakuragi's being his usual
annoying self as he teases Ryota on his height. Out of nowhere comes a
basketball that whacks Sakuragi on the head, and it turns out to have been
thrown by Rukawa, who really, by this point, does nothing but eat, sleep,
play basketball and torment Sakuragi.
The rest of the Gundam are wondering why Sakuragi can't concentrate
on the game as much as the rest of the players, while it's obvious that it's
because Rukawa's vexing him. And then Yohei gets this little smirk and
says something along the lines, "I have another theory on that..."

Yeah, I have a twisted little brain. Rukawa, after carefully taking
off his own shirt, intentionally bumps into Sakuragi to get out of the
way while they're clearing up. And the whole "wringing
his shirt to get the sweat out" thing -- just a ploy to get Sakuragi
to take off his own shirt, if you ask me. (The fact that Sakuragi
completely ruined his shirt and had to go through the rest of the night
topless was just a bonus, eh?)

| Episode: The One With The First of the Shohoku vs Josei Games

Oh, fine, this scene is not really specifically RuHanaRu-ish,
but I'm including it here anyway.
It's the first of the Shohoku vs Josei training camp games, and Shohoku
isn't doing too well. During a charged time-out Akagi mentions that he
wonders how Sakuragi's going back at school, and the thought of Sakuragi
laughing in their faces riles up the entire main line-up into playing as
though they're on fire.
Thou shalt note how Rukawa (busy minding his own business) suddenly
tilts his head up when Akagi mentions Sakuragi's name -- before
the captain mentions the red-head's probable reaction to their losing. |
